Hello guys,

I'm trying to accomplish something in my world but I can't seem to find a solution to solve this problem. In easy words:

- I have an AE system that is currently working smoothly (it has ME Drives, ME Chests and storage cells etc)
- I want to create a small Logistics Pipes system and use the Mod Based ItemSink module so I can separate some mods from my AE system, since those mods have lots of items but nothing that justifies a storage cell.
- I want to organize things per mod in that LP system.

So, what I did was the following:

- Connected the AE system to my LP system with an ME Interface.
- Connected Provider and Basic Logistics Pipes on the ME Interface.

But with just that, I'm not able to tell when an item comes into the AE system through the terminal, to check if it's possible to put it in the LP system I have.

I don't want to use the LP Remote Orderer and an Ender Pouch to solve this, since I don't like that interface (and I lose the ? crafting option).
I want to avoid configuring/formatting AE and 30 pipes manually with every type of item I want (that's why I wanted to try the Mod Based ItemSink).

Can anyone give me a hand and light up the way for me?

If I recall correctly you need 3 pipes/modules to connect AE to LP. First one is item sink (probably default route). Second is a provider pipe to let the Logistics network use whats in the ME system. Third is a pipe to let the ME system request items from the LP network,,, Think its a request pipe?

And if I read you correctly, you want to extract the items in your ME system that can be stored in the LP network? I'm not sure what the best method for doing this is but if you have set up the ME/LP connection correctly, you just need to add a QuickSort module connected to the ME system. This will once in a while move items from the ME network into the mod-based storage modules. The quicksort will not move items into the default route though so you won't get items endlessly looping if you use the quicksort module. If you on the other hand use one of the extractor modules you might end up with quite the mess, alternativly no power.
