Single Player World crashes on startup

Whenever I go to start playing on a single player world, it simply crashes.
Odd (to me) however, is that I can start up a server, and it runs perfectly fine, with no problems whatsoever (other than those created by having client and host on the same system.) And while a viable workaround for my problem, I'd just rather not have to deal with that sort of thing.

Bump, for still unsolved.

Been testing around, and it does the exact same thing no matter which mod-pack I use, if I have to generate the world myself it simple crashes at world load.
