Shoop Resonant Rise [Ended 7/21/13]

Slight change of setup. Made of cut off switch for the network for when I'm off line no reason to waste power. (the chunk is loaded) Set up an input for an ender chest to help with hand mining. And added a power cube back up over it for when I need emergency power for something.

I have an idea, make a portal room for the nether, twilight, mystcraft, etc.

................
......
but make it look like a mass relay from Mass Effect.


Doesn't have to be huge, and due to the long and skinny shape of a mass relay you could just have teleporter at the center of the Element Zero core that took you to the real portal room.

Well I certainly enjoyed reading through all 21 Posts of this thread, I guess thats what happens when you aren't on the FTB forums for a while, I was actually pretty lucky earlier today Saice took me to his base so I could get to the nexus, and all though I was only there for a minute, the whole ship looked awesome, can't wait to see what else you add in :D
 
last time I was at Saice's ship, I was wondering what kinda wiring he was using, and without a pickaxe I tried to break it with my fists to find out... universal cable cannot be broken with fists.. so had to go back to my base and make some new ones for him :)

sorry for no pics recently. Been working on the whole reactor thing and ran out of cooper so I've been mining to get the cooper I need to complete it.

Want me to rig it for you such that it only runs when you or your friends are around? I'm about to do this for my base too. It's a trivial thing and costs almost no resources.

I could even hook up dark cables to regional proximity detectors. You can keep your processing cores online.

What's really cool about your storage setup (and my new farm system) is that it works on 0 power, so we turn off AE and then when it comes back online it immediately has all it needs.

Also, does NucklearJetControl accurately report on Energy cubes? I heard something about capacity misreporting.

Maybe not rig it up. But i'd like to see your setup.

and dont know. But I do know the Engery Kit and cards report a slightly higher engery then what is in the cube unless it is zero. You can see in my frist AE post that it says I have 2,200,043 of 2,200,000

Simple, you just use a Dark Cable (the one that only connect when redstone signal is applied) to connect all of your chests up. That way, when you aren't around, turn out the lights and it won't spend energy maintaining all those storage buses. When you want something, flip the switch, pull it out, then turn the lights chests off when you leave.

I have that already The lever over the AE set up is to a dark net cable that I turn off when i log out

EDIT: which I added some time after my OMG POWA comment.
