Ah wow, pretty cool man, and yeah same hear, but working on with people sometimes can be fun, btw are you guys accepting apps? It'd be cool to build and record an lp on their. If not its fine :)

It is mostly for Beta we are trying to get the Pack all its permission and bug tested so we can put it out live for everyone. The LPs and thread here are really just so people can see whats going on and get an idea what the pack is about. I've done a few of these project threads before. So when I got on RR I decided since I would be doing a bunch on there I might as well make it a real project and do a build.

Yeah that sounds really cool man, are you guys trying to get it on the Launcher or ftb? And you guys upgrading to 1.6?

I'm not sure the plan. I think Dave would like it in the FTB launcher but to be honest I doubt they even know we exist.

1.6 is going to be awhile for everyone because of the large changes to how mods will be interacting with it. But I'm sure once forge and the mods are good to go Dave will push RR into 1.6 with them.

How do you guys have the pack set up right now? Do you guys just install the mods onto like the normal vanilla one?

And yeah thats very true. I tought FTB was going to skip 1.5 and go to 1.6 due to redpower or something like that not entirely sure on it.

Most people use MulitMC. If you check out he G+ group https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/109856948017213754039 there is a downloadable config and there is a mod list. You will have to download all the mods yourself but the config you can just drop in place which is the hard part of making a mod pack work. The build on G+ tends to be a few versions behind what we are using on the server but it is the latest that was stable.

No, not on the FTB Launcher. No offense to the FTB Launcher Mod Pack Crew, they are a bunch of awesome guys (I should know, since I do have a mod pack up on the Launcher), but it just doesn't meet his particular needs. He has a different platform in mind, and it isn't Technic either.

What is it? Well, I'm sure he'll let everyone know when he is ready to release.

One weirdness about it. Wands do not change unless I drop down to about 128y

ahhh I've been looking for a good arena... a pocket dim sounds like a great plan! :D

if you go up to about 192+ on the Y you will be able to see the skybox. Below that its all dark but if you get over that you get to see the sun (in a black sky) and the moon and even stars at night. That is were I put my little space.
