Hello, i am so sorry if this is not the proper section to ask this, but given the fact that i am this close of Power raging and throwing my monitor out of the window, This is my last effort for a solution....

Me and my pal bought MC, we DLed FTB Evolved from the Curse app so we can enjoy it together.

So i go to YouTue and i find this guide on how to setup a quick server so we both can join in...:

But....but...BUT... WHERE IS THE FREAKIN LAUNCHER?!?!?!?!?!!

I must be SO SO STUPID!!!! I am SO sorry for the caps but i CANNOT find the download button ANYWHERE in the FTB site for the launcher so i cann continue with the tutorial to setup our own server!!! AAARRRGGHH!!!!

i am so sad.. Can any1 please help us!?!

It says to download the server pack from "here" and the destination is just the mod's files without a .bat executable file to begin!!! What is going on?!?!

It says that the link for the server download ISN'T WORKING!!!!

Did FTB shut down alll free servers or something!?!
I can only enjoy FTB by paying the creeperhost thingy!?!?!?!

FTB never hosted free servers. Ever.

You have three options,
1: You can host the server on your own computer, using instructions found all over the internet.
*Note: Downloading a server, is just downloading the files needed for you to host a server, not for you to join one.

2: If you are both in the same house, just open up the game to LAN. You will have to keep the computer that opened the game to LAN to stay on, if the other one wants to play.

3: Use a 3rd party hosting service like creeperhost. They cost money. They all do. Good ones will help you with the set up and have you up and running in minutes. Bad ones will take your money not help.

Go to https://www.feed-the-beast.com/
look under the download button for the legacy launcher links
This downloads the old ftb launcher

In the launcher select the pack you want and click "download server"
The curse launcher is missing this feature as of yet.
