Server won't start FTBServer-1.6.4-965.jar

I have the same problem, and have tried to kill whatever is running on that port only to receive the error message "No such process". Please help! Thank you.

Do "netstat -ptlen" and kill it by its PID not port number, PID is a strong of about 4-8numbers in it own column. Can't miss it.

Instead of replying to an unrelated 2.5 year old thread make a thread of your own and include useful debugging info like log output, what you've already tried, etc etc.
