Server Timout Error

sry, couldn't post in the support forums, the one im redirected to.

since Monday I have been unable to connect to my friends server on DireWolf20 1.0.18 due to a server timeout, before then I connect and disconnected fine and as I pleased, if anyone can get me a working fix it would be wonderful. I have done everything for firewalling to fix it but nothing happened

bumping your thread after an hour or two is not going to make anyone respond any faster, patience is a virtue .

Can you connect to other servers?

not that I am aware of, I only have the one server on the mod pack, let alone minecraft in general

you need to try and connect to another server that's running the same pack. There are plenty listed in the server section that don't have a whitelist. We need to see if it's the server or the client causing the issue.

it was the client. turns out that when i reinstalled the pack the first time, I didnt uninstall it properly. I found a nifty guide to uninstall that allowed me to do so. after reinstalling the problem was successfully solved Thank you for the time you took to try to help me tho means alot <3
