I hosted a ftb ultimate pack server no problem, but my internet stinks and the block lag was bad, so my friend, alex, tried hosting one. Once he downloads the server file from the launcher I took control over his using team-viewer and started getting to work on server. I go into the server file and do the normal start.bat (and no, the ram was not too high) and the server flashes on the off in the blink of an eye. I searched everywhere and could not find a descent answer so I turned here in hopes of help
-the server file was not corrupt, over Skype I tested this sending him my server file which works fine for me, but did the same open and close for him

-The ram was not too, for it would give us a error message, I lowered the ram just to be sure, nothing changed

-It was up to date and his computer is more than capable of running it

-he runs the correct java for ftb server (java 64 bit runtime environment, which I know this because I host servers with that exact same java)

I don't know what else to say ); PLEASE HELP, by the way I use windows seven, as so my friend

Right click the .bat and click edit.

Add PAUSE on a NEW line at the end.

Run the .bat

Copy/paste or screenshot what it says here.
