I am using a Dell Vostro 400 with
Cores 2 Duo E6550 2.33GHz, 4GB RAM, 160GB HDD Running MineOS
***Stock video card thats built into mother board

I found a cheap server for $80 its a
Dell PowerEdge 1950 1U server - with the listed specs
Two 4-Core Xeon E5410 2.33ghz processors, 14GB of RAM, PCI-E SAAS RAID card with two 80GB SATA drives

I am starting to get a decent amount of lag on the server and am looking to boost the system do you think I should boost ram or maybe video card and would I be better with the listed server. I have no idea how important a video card even would be in a server for minecraft

I'm not an expert when it comes to hardware, but that CPU looks horribly slow for Minecraft

I'm looking to support 2 players working together in around the same spot no one will be playing from outside our house. I'm new to the idea of a server but with 2 of those cpu processers I was thinking it should be fine for us hopefully some one who knows servers can chime in
