Hello!

I've made a FTB Unleashed 1.1.6 server for me and my friends to play on but we've encountered a problem - my friend is unable to connect to the server.

- He has the correct modpack version and correct mods disabled
- I have forwarded the port(25565) to my ipv4 address(checked on 3 different sites, they all say it's open)
- my IP is static(set through ipv4 properties)
- I've given him the external IP
- he has original minecraft so online mode is not an issue
- I've allowed the port and java.exe in the firewall, both outbound and inbound (can't allow ftbserver because it's .jar)
- the "server_ip" in server.properties is empty - has no ip written there

I can connect to the server and play normally.

Also, when i open the serverstart.bat, it doesn't open the usual "minecraft server" window you get if you run ftbserver.jar. Only the cmd.

PS: i've checked a lot of different topics and tried many different things, nothing seemed to work.

Hope you can help me with this.

Many thanks in advance!

Another question:

I've been playing a little on this "server" of mine and my waypoints got deleted twice now, once it happened today between two play sessions. I've checked my internal and external IP's and they've both stayed the same.

Could my issues be connected to the wireless usb adapter? I'm using a Linksys AE1200 and i have to unplug and plug it for several times a day, probably like once every hour.

I don't know this for sure however waypoints are saved per server on your client, if the server ip changes the waypoints are gone. As for your friend not connecting, has the server ip changed?

If you have hamachi install it gonna make your pc a lan only type, don't know how it works fully but, i had the same problem, if you don't have it install, then it can be that your pv4(192.168.*.*) is changing over time, just go to Run then type CMD then it pops up type ''Ipconfig'' then press ''enter'' look at your pv4 ip under ''Wireless Lan adapter Wi-Fi'' check if the pv4 is the same as in your portforward, if it the same i have no ide'
:)

The IP has not changed, i've set it to static.

Yeah my ipv4 is still the same.
We've tried hamachi a while ago but we had some issues with it(and the other progams) so i finally learned how to port forward and properly set it up.
I'm doing everything pretty much the same as before.

In the router portforward settings i have an option "Common service port"(dns, ftp, gopher...). Should i leave it empty or set it to something?

Nope, i didn't even install it this time.

Perhaps the issue is in the adapter so i'm going to wait until i get cable internet before trying again i guess.
