Hey guys I like to think I'm computer literate but I can never learn to how to set up these damn servers. I have FTB installed and have successfully launched the RPG immersion pack and played it for a few minutes. Then I clicked and downloaded the server from the download server button.

Buuuut...now I'm at a loss. Can you please give me a quick, but in detail so I don't get lost, step by step on how to set it up so it will work? I'm using Hamachi and already have the 1.4.7 MC server downloaded to match rpg immersion..if I needed to do that..do I? Like I said beyond pressing the download server button I have no idea what to do. I'm heading to graveyard shift at work so I'll check this in the morning.

thank you so much in advanced, I just want to play the game with my friend D: (who is also in the process of DLing FTB this moment)

If you plan on using Hamachi, the easiest way by far is just going to a single player game and opening the game to local from the esc menu. Tho this means that the game will only be up when the host is in :I

If you want to learn how to setup a server the best way is to setup a vanilla server first. Then you simply change the servers Jar file to the one you like to use (FTB, Bukkit, ...) and then you run it again. If you do so, you should delete your world before starting ftb.

Thank you so much guys, the video was excellent! I've had several servers before just never with any mods, I couldn't connect using 'local host' like he did but I was able to connect to it typing in my servers name and IP so I think I'm good, thanks again!
