I am wanting to change modpacks from MindCrack to Direwolf's Pack on my server. I was wondering if I need to create a new world or not (I want to keep my old one) as far as world generation such as ores, bee hives, and such.

Regarding a new world im not sure if u need one but i bet the existing blocks and items (and prolly the twilight forest dimensions) will prolly cause huge errors on ur server. I would suggest making a copy of the world and testing it out first on the dwolf20 pack then go ahead and actually switch ur server (depending on the results)
We weren't into mods that weren't listed on the DW pack but in MindCrack yet, but I was far enough to where friends would be mad if something were to happen to it.
It worked and the only thing corrupted was the bees from forestry.
