'Christian' doesn't scream "vulgarity free!" to me... quite the opposite
if you want to have a religious server theres nothing stopping you from making a server and not posting it on the forums, gaining people by word of mouth at your church or wherever you feel comfortable
If its just a Cursing blocked city server, with no religion, you could make a server, post it wherever and have a whitelist/rules

Regardless of everything, keep in mind that there are always people around who will want to ruin your "vulgarity-free" tag, and try to get your members to react in a non-proper way. If you actually want to get this project off the ground I recommend at least a bit of time spent getting to know your community, and making sure that people are aware of the fact that you don't appriciate or want vulgarity. Other than that, I think you're about set.
Yes really just call your server what every you want. the name and theme are not important to your core needs. And those can easy be address via Whitelisting and a good spelling out of rules of conduct for your server.

Go for it. Get it set up, post a thread in the server area, and enjoy MineCraft your way. If it works out well, you'll be fine. If not, you should rethink your setup and see if you can make it work out better.
And don't forget that people WILL shorten names, so "CoP". Just don't try and do anything like "City of Cool Kids", or the like, because, well, I'm sure you can see as much.

Or you can go with somethign that does nto shorten well like on word names

Yeah, something that is already short enough works for the best (such as Saice or Guswut as a username versus IrrationalPiMan or any other overly long username) experience in naming I've found.
But still, lots of possible market for him to tap.
How about City of Light and Peace: CoLaP. Or "Haven of Light" because haven somewhat means a city or village of peace.
Why not just go with "Haven"? Although what about "Haven of Light Yokels", AKA "HoLY". Mind you, "yokels" may not be the best word, but I'm sure you can find a better word for that, eh?
I applaud your efforts to create a safe gaming environment for children, but those names are cornier than Iowa.

I commend your enthusiasm but feel it's slightly misplaced. Christianity and the Bible is far from PG or even PG-13. There are accounts of rape, murder, incest, torture, masturbation, slavery etc accounted quite frankly in those "hallowed" pages. To deny the existence of these things or to rush to censor "bad" language seems both isolationist and naive to me. If your pursuits are truly spiritual then you should welcome all comers and then witness to them through example. It's what the big guy would do.
why did you include this? Firstly; it's healthy and not a bad thing. Secondly, Christianity(not Christians) condemn(ed) it. Putting it alongside the likes of rape/murder/slavery(you should have included genocide and infanticide) is grossly misleading.
