I usually don't take pictures/do video's on servers but the easiest way to describe how I build is to call me an automaton with some design flares. First and foremost each build I do accommodates what it has been built to do to the best of its ability (usually using as little space as possible and within chunk boundaries); one example being that a I'll usually use the voxel chunk view to then plan out my builds in cobble, build it, then attempt to make it look good (window's, varied block exteriors, RP microblocks, CC locked doors e.g.) whilst keeping to a sort of house theme.
Are you community-oriented or a solo player?
If I join a server on the first day it's launched I'll usually go solo till people have been on for a bit and then invite them to join me (if they're willing, seem friendly enough and have enough knowledge of the pack for me not to drag them along - I'd prefer to have a partner and not a student). Though, if a person has a tendency to place lava as a decoration block, I'll probably be keeping away from them.

Sadly, i don't have any pics of what i have built. I build functional things. Things that make my life easier. i'll work twice as hard to make something easier for my self.
