I have done a HUGE job on optimizations. So at this moment it is very possible to have two huge (512x256x512) scans of the world (overworld and nether in this case) next to each other. I also send the data gradually with a cool slide in effect added on top:

Good news, yes. Bad news, 1.12. I'm not expecting a backport to 1.10, but I would love it if it happened.

You're the greatest. I was miserable thinking that I was missing out staying in 1.10 (a few key mods still missing to make my 1.12 pack). This changes everything...
