Revelations - vein mining options?

Ore excavation and vein mining mods do not seem to be included in Revelations, and nor is Mekanism (for the atomic disassembler).

I was wondering if there are any other ways of getting something like vein mining in Rev without installing any additional mods?

You could easily just add it to the pack if you use the Curse launcher. If Vein Miner isn't available for that version of MC then look for Ore Excavator... It's an almost identical plugin (and used in newer packs) with a few more configurable options, such as having to have at least a certain level of tool to function, such as wooden tools not working but stone and up do.

Thanks Hambeau. I know I can add it in via one of the mods you mentioned.

I was actually wondering if there was any way of developing a tool or something within Revelations as it is out-of-the-box (e.g., like with Mekanism, vein mining becomes available when you get to crafting an Atomic Disassembler).
