I stole this post as the exact same thing is happening to me. I have tried FTB, CurseForge, and ATLaunch which I found out use both or the before mentioned. I would like to be able to play and enjoy the game, as of now I am pissed that I cannot play something I just paid for. Anyways here is basically what I have done with no success:
My buddy runs a small-time revelations server for our friend group, and there is roughly 5 of us who play on said server. We have added our own mods to the modpack but nothing special, and none of us have ever encountered any issues with anything. Our other friend who was wanting to join has installed Revelations but can't seem to boot up the game he crashes and gets a crash report with - "net.minecraftforge.fml.common.LoaderExceptionModCrash: Caught exception from GenDustry " in it.
What we have tried to fix his issue:
Reinstalled Java, vanilla Minecraft, the twitch launcher, and Revelations
Have put the ram to 10 Gb
set the launcher to JAR
installed a fresh version of chickenlib
implemented a .class file to fix the lang issues with GenDustry, and even though that solves Gendustry, another mod pops up with the same problem.
*note that the same thing was happening to him with our crackpack 3 server.
We have literally no idea how this is happening as we thought this issue was fixed years ago,
any help is appreciated thanks.
