I have avoided (so far) getting a resource pack for my modded worlds as Ive not been sure that any of them cover the majority of the mods I use.

So, Which resource packs can I add to a Monster based game, and get most if not all my items retextured in the same style?

As an initial foray, and with the system resources of my PC foremost, a 32x or 64x pack would be prefereable.

I would recommend Soartex. It is a very classic style. Basically just vanilla improved to higher res and quality. Nothing fancy or cartoony. It comes as a 64x and you should be able to run it with monster with 3GB allocated in the launcher.

I would have to say Faithful mainly because I am the guy working on it, but if you don't like the style, Soartex doesn't consume many more resources and it also looks good in my opinion.

128x Sphax just beats everything else IMO, if your computer can handle it. You'll need to dedicate about 10GB of RAM in Monster for it, so don't touch it unless you have ~16GB of RAM. They have 32x and 64x versions though, which can be used by most modern computers.

Personally not a fan of Sortex or Faithful, I just downloaded them to compare to 128x Sphax. I think if you really want the best coverage that would match pretty well... take Faithful, and then overwrite it with Sphax. That way if there happens to be a texture that Sphax doesn't cover, you'll get faithful's 32x texture instead of the default 16x texture. I wouldn't recommend doing this for Sortex though, as Sphax is a completely different art style.

It's a shame Faithful doesn't offer 128x.

These packs all cover the mods used in Monster? That is so cool. I never realized the resource packs had branched out so much.

This is not 100% accurate, its more a guide I keep for myself https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...oydkJuS1lmRGpWWUJKSHRrTmc&usp=drive_web#gid=0 , Some of the packs have more support added at this time, I don't really have the time to keep it perfectly up to date. But It might give you an idea of which packs might have what from the FTB packs.

If its on the launcher and listed for 1.6.4 Monster than at least 60% of the mods are covered including all vanilla textures.

Again that is not a 100% accurate up to date list, its just something I keep handy for when I want to change things up and use a different resource pack.
