Have you ever thought "I want to do this, but I have no idea how". Well this thread is here to change that. Just request something specific (like fully automated tree farm or auto cutoff rf power system) and either people will showcase their builds or I'll give it a go. Don't forget to post the pack your using!

Could you please build me a tree that never stops growing. That would make my dreams come true. I'd be able to show it off to all of my friends. BTW I'm using TPPI.

Close, but what I'd like to see is a tree that I can see planting saplings on top of itself.

I'm pretty ignorant of ComputerCraft but couldn't you do this with turtles? Give a turtle a dirt block and a bunch of sapling and have him climb the trunk, remove leaves, place the dirt, plant the sapling, wait for a block update then break the dirt and replace it with wood, then start again.

This would only satisfy me if I can't see the turtle as it is hidden in the middle of a 3x3 trunk.

Nature overhaul did something like that. (old mod mind)
Trees would randomly drop saplings, which self plant and grow- so a forest would spread out until it finds lava. with infinite fire it clears back to a few isolated trees- which start over again.

Automatic Cattle/piggy farm with Rotarycraft.
(If you're stuck I'll allow the railcraft feed station to help with this)

But but but those are the two best aesthetic mods out there why wouldn't you want them

Same reason I'm not the biggest user of microparts- too much choice/functionality. Unless I really limit what I use everything looks like poo.
(and my inventory slots get destroyed which is kinda annoying)

This would actually interest me as well. Not really enough to use it instead of MFR unless it's both cheap and powerful(which MFR already is), but this would be cool to see.

Yeah- MFR is cheap [sometimes] and powerful, but lacks the gameplay and engineering design I'm looking for.
I wouldn't say non-believer- I just struggle to build pretty stuff with the "pretty blocks" mods
Edit- Nice avatar BTW
