Redstone separators other than Insulated Wire?

is there any Redstone separators other than Insulated Wire? As in item that will allow me to separate two adjacent redstone signals but STILL power the the Block it is attacked to?

You mean besides RP2 or just insulated wire?
You could use plan old redwire and separate it with microblocks.
Or use several wireless transmitters/receivers.

And the 1.5 version of minefactory reloaded has such a system.
There's also a number of mods not found in FTB that has such systems in it.

Is there a particular reason to leave aside insulated wire? It may be easier to overcome that problem.

cut a block with a saw till its a cover then cut the cover into strips and place on the side of 1 wire and it wont join to the next

You would normally use jacketed wire for that.
