Hi, I've been working on powering my bee genetics machines and the carpenter with a Tesseract and a Redstone Energy Cell. However, I can't seem to get any output from the Redstone Cell. Here is a screenshot, could anyone tell me what is wrong?

Your conduit is wrong. It needs to be in orange "output" mode for the energy cell to be able to transfer energy into the conduit.

Rightclick the section next to the energy cell with any Buildcraft compatible wrench/tool.

Ordinarily this would mean your first machine won't get any power, because right now there is a rendering limitation that means that a single section of conduit can only be either output or input. However, since your first machine has a second connection behind it, that won't be an issue.

Also, those extra bee machines will suck all your energy dry. If they are sitting there idle for most of the time, set the REC to output 1 or 2 MJ/t.

Yeah what I tend to do with XB machines is this

Use the redstone energy cells as storage otherwise using multiple XB machines simultaneously will drain all your power. Also doing it this way when you aren't using the machines your cells recharge.
