What is the bug? Attaching red alloy wires to a redstone clock then turning it on seems to crash servers

Sponge is not supported.
Edit: Use GriefPrevention to ban Extra Utilities' Redstone clock, hence that is at fault, not the wire.

As Kurama said, we cannot support Sponge as we do not test with it. Sorry.
