Redstone Arsenal help!

So I created the Flux-Infused armor set because I enjoy using the tools in my plays, but after equipping the armor it doesn't seem like it gives me any protection at all. It shows full armor, but even the smallest of things hurt me like they would if I wasn't even wearing the armor.

Am I missing an activation key press or something. I feel like I wasted a lot of time and resources on something that doesn't do anything usefull

Dumb question, but is it charged? I've never had or heard of this problem.

yeah its got a full charge on it. I havent enchanted it yet but I feel like it should be doing more than it is

Just tested it and it seems to be working. I'm not sure what level of protection you're expecting, but it's equivalent to diamond.

It's also enchantable - keep that in mind.
