how do assemblers work, anyway? I tried using one, you know, placed it, set a pattern, gave materials, and gave it a signal, but nothing happened. Do they need bluetricity or something?

Try to set a color, then run an insulated wire of that color to it, they don't need blutricity

Or you can use bundled cable, with a colour signal going through it.

My only foray into flying rp2 frame machines so far was quite something I enjoyed a lot, looking forward rto making some more things in the future when we get rp2 back.
