Yeh I've kinda been doing that myself by replacing all my RP pipes with AE cable which gives me far more control over everything and on another note does anybody know if MFR will be added to the Direwolf20 pack after the update?[DOUBLEPOST=1369433697][/DOUBLEPOST]
You would have to use MC edit to delete all the unused chunks around you and then it would probably load the BOP biomes:)

I don't know if Direwolf20 knows MFR even exists.

He should though, it's amazing

I think at the moment they are not saved and, admittedly, that is the one thing I didn't think of. Touche, good sir, touche.

In the TE change logs for 1.5 it says shiny dust now upgrades tesseracts to save their settings on breaking.

I'd be incredibly shocked if he didn't but if he doesn't add it I'm gonna have to myself because I have to replace all my rp wiring with mfr's cabling

Do they have MFR on Forgecraft?

From his videos, I get the impression Direwolf is very scatterbrained and forgetful, so if he never got the chance to play with MFR on forgecraft, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he completely forgot it exists.

Ok that is pimp switchable conveyors.
Everything about MFR is amazing. The conveyors are as of the most recent builds on of the very best non-instant item movers you can add to your game. Only Infinitubes and AE do a much better job.

I just saw Mead crafting a DSU in his most recent video, so yeah they do.

About conveyors and a sudden spark of curiosity:
How computationally expensive (server side and client side) are conveyor belts vs. flowing water (in a 1 wide canal), transporting a random stream of items?

"Today we are gonna check out a new mod that some of you may have heard of and it adds some pretty neat things! It runs off of IC2 EU and uh, uh BuildCraft, uh MJs. First you're gonna need some plastic...."

He may say "This modder is fairly new? Right guys?"

If he's on ForgeCraft or something then a guy or someone would say

"No, he's been modding for a little bit."

How does one even possibly spotlight MFR. It's gonna be like 19 hours.

I wonder if MFR is on ForgeCraft 1. I know that *cough* some people *cough* have been real pills about adding new mods, claiming outrageous garbage like, "Dartcraft is just a copy of forestry backpacks" and "Extra Utilities is a scrub mod" (RichardG took this back though, so good on him for giving EU credit where it's due) and "MFR just copied Forestry and RP2". The last one is so epically preposterous that it's hard to even process.

I can see a spotlight for MFR take two 30 minute episodes.

On topic: I always restart on a new patch. Helps keep things clean.

Man whoever said that one has no idea how old MFR actually is. I am so good at stealing mods that I time travelled into the future to steal the idea of "automatic farming" from forestry and give it to feanorith (minefactory itself) so shen he abandoned minefactory I could take it over. All according to plan.

Anyway direwolf's videos are great, though he spends like two minutes per machine and it's over an hour before he even gets to the rednet stuff because there is just so much to cover.

I did once hear the plan for when MFR was going onto FC1 but I don't remember what it was.

Indeed. Preposterous. The kind of ignorance that has no rebuttal but laugher. Although I find the "it is just a copy of forestry backpacks" remark aimed at Dartcraft at least as repugnant because it's so bitterly unfair.

Not sure if it's meaningful to you, but my next rednet segment should be out this week. I was waiting for a new mic, since that last video is by far and away my #1 traffic producer and I sorta wanna glitz it up. I have 2 "basic" builds to show how to build using just rednet and vanilla mechanics.

1. "Using rednet, how do I run engines when my machines have work?"
2. "Using rednet, how do I optimize the burn on my fuel-based engines for filling up a redstone energy cell?" (This one is kinda fun because it uses an inverted pulse widener in a way I don't often see, and because most people build this one very naively and then wonder why their fuel efficiency is so bad.)
