Also, a good idea would be to make a public listing of these kinds of...unscrupulous sites to warn other users. A big post here and also maybe on Minecraft Forum. Maybe even setup a Google doc with a spreadsheet giving the sites' URLs, names, and reason why they're on the shitlist.

The players should know that they only should download mods from trusted sites (MCF, this forum, Curse, the author's site) or as part of modpacks from trusted sources
