Random Lag Spikes?

I'll be just in my base, doin' stuff around it. & all of a sudden my FPS plummets to about 1-2 fps & is on the verge of crashing, but it will comeback in about 4 minutes or so? why is this?

I had this same issue. I think it is caused by... I have no idea.

I noticed that when this was happening, that after about 20min the lag spikes would go away....
