Random Howling and Explosions (Regrowth)

Can anyone tell me what these are? Whenever one of the sounds plays it startles me, and if there's any way to turn them off without breaking anything, it'd be appreciated.

I'm assuming the howling is from Witchery, what with the werewolves and such, but other than that I have no clue.

Random howling: Wolves which spawn at night. Spawn in packs and stay through the day.

Explosions: The small enderman (Ender IO mod i think) attacks creepers, creepers explode, repeat

The random howling is actually Dire Wolves, from Ender Zoo.
Apparently it's a bug that they spawn upon world gen.
Just disable spawns in configs if you want to remove them.

Some of us use the SoundFilters mod. It blocks the explosion and howling sounds from the caves.
