I'm using Mindcrack 8.3.2 and I've recently been working on an advanced beekeeping facility. In and around this facility (and possibly elsewhere?) I hear on rare occasions, what sounds like a modified chicken cluck. It seems to always be the same noise (i.e. not one of the other randomized chicken noises), and it sounds a bit lower pitched and more "grindy" than regular chickens do, almost more like a quiet engine being turned over.
There are no chickens anywhere around and I haven't even seen a chicken in this area since I began the map. More importantly, it only happens very rarely, perhaps once every 3 real-time days or so. If it was a real chicken I would hear the noise much more often. And I never hear the popping noise of eggs being laid either.
Are there some machines that may be doing this? The newest things I've been implementing that I've never used before are probably Routers and Managers, along with loads of Carpenters, Squeezers, Centrifuges, and some Sorting Machines. That's all of course on top of all the Apiaries.
Come to think of it, there's also a chunkloader nearby, which is part of the "ChickenChunks"/"Chickenbones" mod, so perhaps that is the culprit?
