[Question] Thaumcraft 4.2.30 Essential Tubes

They arent meant to be used as an essentia sorting system. Their uses are geared towards piping just one aspect at a time. Otherwise, they get clogged.
Hmm..I will look into it more.
Right now I'm thinking of using the crystallizer to turn all of them into shards, keep them in barrels and send them to their own individual alchemical furnace before having a single tube connecting to each individual warded jars.
Edit: By the way, all mana beans comes only in the primal type by default? And you can crossbreed them?
buffers actually work pretty well, I saw a post on reddit from someone who had their essentia setup build with buffers.
the trick with buffers is to set their output side to red by shift-right clicking the output side of the buffer, do this with all the buffers and the essentia should flow through all of them until they reach their jar
I copied the design in this...
the whole setup is 1 big chain of buffers configured so there's only 1 direction the essentia can flow through
it all works pretty well except for the resevoirs, as they don't seem to accept any essentia.
I made a post on the reddit post in the hope of getting some clarification on that part

nope, I labeled all the jars, I always prefer doing that, if it's needed or not.
and you don't actually need to have these jars at your altar, you can use an essentia mirror to send essentia from your jar storage towards your altar, it's what I'm doing in my current singleplayer survival world, this way the area at the altar is much cleaner
Well that reminds me of something I did in 1.6.4. Just have an autonomous activator constantly right clicking a alembic with empty phials and sending the filled ones into some barrels or an ME system. Its super easy.
in my 1.6.4 Agrarian Skies world I had a fantastic setup for my essentia, but it's been nerfed altogether with mana beans.
basically I had a pech grinder going, producing mana beans of every essentia type.
I then had an alchemical furnace for every essentia type with just 1 alembic feeding into a jar. I then used AE to output the mana beans to every alchemical furnace.
whenever I used up essentia from a jar, the furnace would switch on for having room to produce essentia again, and AE would automatically refill the beans for me.

Just being picky... the bellow is not needed on your setup. It was needed in the redditor's one since the alembic and first buffer were not adjacent.
No one except Azanor truly know how those bloody pipes work. Those that think they know end up finding that they don't actually know when their system gumms up for no reason.
The only thing I know about them is that you can't have multiple types of essentia running through the pipes and if you attempt to add another type things get gummed up.
I just use Thaumic energistics now... In the past I just did infusions manually.
