Question regarding guidelines

I was planning on submitting a third party private pack and I was hoping to include Flans mod but flans mod is weird in the way that it has a folder outside of the mods and config folder, should I include this in the zip file I would send or how would I go about this problem?

Yes you will need to include it with you pack. You can just leave it inside the minecraft folder in your zip.

Sorry for my confusion, but the what do you mean by minecraft folder? The guidelines say to include the mods folder and config folder, would you want me to leave the flans folder along side those?

Yes your mods, configs and flans will go into a minecraft folder, then your info.txt and images will stay in the root of your .zip
