Question ... Is there a way to explore the deep dark without torches?

Well without massive amounts of them anyway? That darkness is a pain in the but, but I hate having torches all of the time, lol.

Using DW20 pack with a few mods added.

Maybe try to find some sort of mobile light source?

RoC Floodlight and then just go in a straight line.

or you could install torched
then you don't have to place all the torches yourself, just make 1 huge torch rocket

Dynamic Lights would work, but only for single-player.

Haven't tried it but maybe installing a dynamic light mod and then run/walk/fly/teleport with a torch in your hand (or on your head).

Those are, but I was going for something that was wearable/carryable. The Hyper Niter covers that.

Actually that does not work due to the hassle they are to use compared to HEN
