i made the best hammer i cant afford which is: 2 steel plates;Cobalt Head;Ardite Rod
i used all of my lapis for the fortune and added lava crystal total durability about 15K
what should i add to my last modifier: moss or electric?
i have eu if that matters but i want to pick the better one of these because i cant afford another one yet

yup, that's a bug, I've found that bug quite some time ago and also reported it, but it's a bug that seems to be difficult to fix (probably because for that TiC relies on IC2)

The bug is fixed in 1.6 . If you want non-cheaty/non-buggy in 1.5.x, then go moss.

If you want the best there is in 1.5, go electric.

If you want the best for when it's working as design, go electric, especially for the hammer. The only moss TiC tool/weapon I have in 1.6 is the longsword. While I might pound rocks for 20 minutes solid, I very rarely am pounding on mobs for that long. The moss simply doesn't last long enough on the hammer or the big shovel (excavator).

Moss is super easy to get, but yeah it doesn't keep up very well with high-use items. I haven't yet tried applying it more than once - will that speed up the regrowth?

Yep it will but of course at the cost of one additional modifier.
