So I'm just coming back to FTB after and extended absence, but have noticed something strange that I can't seem to find a answer for, so though I might as well ask here. Although both the Mod-list and Wiki say that EE3 is in the "Ultimate" pack, I can't seem to find any of the actual Equivalent exchange items in-game, such as the Energy condenser or Transmutation Tablet. What am I not seeing here?

EE3 is a totally new mod. The only thing really available so far is the Minimum Stone.

OP? I can understand how the Collectors where OP (kinda ruined the game really, once you have a few, never had to mine again), but I wounder why they thought the Condensers were. Ya, they where automated. but where alot slower than the Transmutation table.
You mean they worked TO well with quarries.
Pahhimar gutted his/her mod becasue it turned in to something that they did not intend the mod to be, EZ mode.
That and when they made EE2 they were probably an eager modder and just did things to prove to themselves they could or because it was cool inadvertently disregarding any semblance of balanced play.
EE3 looks like an attempt to integrate better with other mods and to produce a product that is more refined and feels like an actual game and not just a box of insane cool toys.
But even EE3 has it's balance issues. But like EE2 it's not the fault of the actual mod but how it works with others.
It must be a nightmare to balance all the mods.
Wait for Ars Magica to be added. You'll get that functionality back.

Seriously, though. Ars Magica. Light Nexus + Magic Fabricator == Free stuff forever! Or if you're feeling extra-cheaty, fabricate stone bricks for 300 essence (you get four out), then throw those stone bricks into a pulveriser (or any other method of getting cracked stone bricks), then throw the resultant cracked stone bricks back into the nexus. Since each stone brick is worth about 4.5k essence, you make a gain of... oh, I dunno. 17.7k essence? That's enough for a diamond. From 300 essence.
Is it cheaty? Yeah. Is it awesome? Fuck yeah.

In ars magica alone you can just make cacti farm to get more essence that you will use (just cook it before dropping it into nexus). Cracked stone brick doesn't seem to be efficient according to http://arsmagica.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Essence_Nexus . Also you can't make a diamond now (maximum essence in fabricator is 15 000). EE or IC2 break it even more, adding a lot of recipes through minium stone and UU.
