Try searching but can't seem to find an answer for this, so can anyone answer this or point me in the right direction?

Are you able to automate the AE to autocraft required components of a recipe by themselves if a pattern exist?
E.g. Crafting 2 x Lumps of Galgador, will the system autocraft all the required components or do I have to request the system for all of the components individually?

If you have a pattern for the individual components the AE System will autocraft them if needed.
E.g. you have a pattern for Wood -> 4 Wood Planks and one for 2 Wood Planks -> 4 Sticks.
If you request Sticks with those patterns, it will first craft Planks for you and then Sticks out of the planks.
