I'd like to be able the contents of a disk into another container, but not manually. Is this possible using any of the items from FTB?

Yes.

Simply hooking up an export bus to the desired container will empty the disk's contents into the container. If you're just trying to move some items (but not all), then you can upgrade the export bus into a fuzzy or precise export bus. Both of these will allow you to put on a filter.

Should have stated that I'm using the Ultimate Pack (1.4.7). But the Export bus should be hooked to the system?

You have to configure the export bus with what to export. If you want everything in a specific storage cell to be removed then try putting the cell in an ME ches tand piping out of it with buildcraft (or redpower or whatever you want).

Yes, will have to do it with the configured export bus as pipes hooked up to an ME Chest and another chest don't work.

How about, set up a second network (use the controller from your main network, this will only be temporary) which only has a storage bus as storage and connect the storage bus to whatever you want the items transferred into. Then connect an IO port to the network and use it to move the items from the storage cell into the network. As the only storage is the storage bus the items will all go there.

The best way would be to:

(a) Attach a storage bus to whatever storage unit you're using.

(b) Remove all other storage devices from your system. This means disconnecting all other storage buses/removing all other drives/disconnecting all storage chests.

(c) Put the drive into an ME i/o device set to "output to system" or something to that extent.

(d) Everything should be moved to the only available storage device, which is the storage unit set up in part (a).
