Question about ME Drives

I have an ME system that is almost full atm and it comprises of 2x64k drives and the rest 4k drives. I am trying to upgrade them all to 64k drives now but how do I swap the contents of the drives ? I made all the new 64k drives to put in, how do I take the items out of the 4k ones for them to go onto the 64k ones ?

Use a ME IO Port..hook it to your AE network...drop the 64K drives into the drive bay..then use the 4K drives in the IO Port..really fast and easy to do

The 1.5.2 stuff can do even more than that, now. It's nice.

even in 1.4.7 you have the option to move items into or out of the network using the I/O port. theres a button on the Gui To switch which way the items move. very handy block.

after the 4k is empty you can shift right click it to extract the cell and upgrade it and then recrafted with the empty casing for the upgraded one
