Question about FTB infinity evolved and Thaumcraft taint

Discussion in 'General FTB chat' started by Felissdrakkhen, Jul 11, 2016.

  1. Hello all ,

i need exper suport for my serveur configuration on mxserv,
i dont know why but taint from thaumcraft refusing to spread !!
    my thaumcraft config is
    Code:
        # Can Taint be caused by flux effects.
        B:biome_taint_from_flux=true

        # The chance per block update (1 in n) of the Taint biome spreading. Setting it to 0 prevents the spread of Taint biomes.
        I:biome_taint_spread=200

i have try to change biome_taint_spread to 4 for a extra quick taint but nothing ? other mod conflic perhaps ?

if someone have a solution he will be my hero for 2017

    best regard

You have high vitium levels in the aura?

    That's not a thing in 1.7.10
Edit: the vitium levels in the aura

  4. I have the same problem on FTB Infinity Evolved 1.7 (v2.6.0)

I set the thaumcraft config to:

    # Can Taint be caused by flux effects.
    B:biome_taint_from_flux=true

    # The chance per block update (1 in n) of the Taint biome spreading. Setting it to 0 prevents the spread of Taint biomes.
    I:biome_taint_spread=1

You would think the taint would spread out of control, but it does nothing! The fiberous taint grows within the natural tainted land biomes and the trees in those biomes break down into crusted taint. The grass and dirt turn into tainted soil. The taint spores and taint swarmers grow, and everything! but the tainted lands biome itself doesn't spread!

I've tried researching, but all I can find is how to STOP taint from spreading.

I remember tainted lands spreading in the 1.6.4 ftb monster pack. Does anyone know why it isn't spreading anymore? It really takes a lot of fun out of the modpack
