I believe the speed is logarithmic, so each time you double the power, the speed increases by a set amount. Therefore, there is no max power. Then again, I haven't used a quarry plus in about 6 months...

I am fairly sure it peaks off at a point and has a energy limit but it is a large number. You really can pump however much energy you want into it. I do not have an exact number but I can go check. IIRC it was something like 200k?

edit: It may actually be infinite. Sorry I can't make sure 100% sure but I took a look around through the github code and it LOOKS like it is infinite. I think.

As far as I'm aware it asymptotes, you can pile as much energy as you like into it and it'll keep getting faster, but the gains rapidly become marginal.

I usually give it a bit more leeway than the set limit I give a normal quarry, but my cutoff is 1000MJ/t (which is still probably too high for optimal returns on energy usage but it's easy to calculate :p )

Don't even bother trying to read the Quarry+ code. I want in there to fix the infinite power consumption bug one night and even with my knowledge of the BC power system it was spaghetti.
