I.... don't really like it. for me it's more a mod you'd use if you're playing or making an adventure map, but seeing as I never really play adventure maps.... yea...
it's a cool mod, don't misunderstand, but I just don't see a point in using it

For FTB no, I understand. For adventure yes. I like the creations for such a simple sandbox game.

I think that since it's a collaboration effort between dan200, MinecraftEDU, and Google, it's probably used to teach people about the properties of quantum mechanics. I don't think it's meant to be used for everyday modpacks. I could be wrong, though.

I could see using it as a "transport station" between bases... Fill a bunch of chests with resources at Base A, activate it and all the chests move to Base B.

Just a first impression from Dire's video.

I suppose the "invisible on one side, solid rock on the other" might make for some interesting traps... Do Endermen see at the quantum level? Do they check for appropriate space to teleport to from the floor up or ceiling down? If the former, could they be tricked into teleporting into a quantum block that turns to stone as soon as someone looks at it?

Interesting questions, and I'm sure we'll se experimentation.

Except for the bit that quantum Computers cannot store or transfer tile entities (such as chests). I was thinking the exact same thing up until Dire showed a chest trying to be energized. Oh well.

After watching the spotlight I am not that impressed. I agree, the mod is well suited for adventure maps, but I do not see myself using this mod for any reason. The block mechanics are cool but would get very annoying when trying to use them as actual doors or walls.

I don't know... It might be interesting to use a set of the entangled blocks as a door with another of that set hidden away as a key to change the door to the desired state.

If it can work on Pressure Plates it would be good for that reason on SMP - hidden doors.

Also if it would work on Invisible Blocks. Where you could walk right through it. Perfect for hidden bases and/or hidden rooms in a base/dungeon/adventure style.
