So I don't know why but the pulverizer creates dust and not pulverized iron, copper, tin etc, and when we try to pulverize ferrous it's also going into nickel dust. I have a feeling gregtech is involved but it's annoying as heck

Never mind, the recipe works with nickel. thanks tho.
You can learn a bit with 93 mods.

It's because of GregTech. GregTech tries to replace all recipes to make everything use a single version of an Ore Dictionary entry. That single version usually being the version that GregTech itself added. Since they're all in the Ore Dictionary, they should be interchangeable in recipes anyway.
