Hi, i've been trying lately to download the new the version of Direwolf20 pack so i could play online, but everytime i try do so, it gives me an error after it download the initial 178MB(which takes a while when you have a internet that is as slow as 32KB/s, takes about an hour for every fail ¬_¬).Okay, here a walkthrough to the error i'm getting:
1st - Select and start to download Direwolf20 1.5 v1.1.3 modpack;
2nd - wait an hour for it to download the initial files, which takes a little more than an hour;
3rd - Stare at the screen with an expression of frustration as it fails after it finishes downloading first part.

There is no ID to the error, it simply says it failed to downloaded the modpack... 4 times now...
I can't post a screenshot now because it would take me literally an hour to get the error screen, so if necessary i can post it later.
Tried to force update, completely delete the ftblauncher folder in appdata and the one where he keeps the downloaded files for the modpacks, setting manually another version.Haven't tried downloading other packs, because as stated many times in this post, i would waste another hour...

Try a different server to see if that helps. Are you downloading anything else or is that your max download speed?
I'ts my full internet speed i'm not downloading anything else, it would only delay it even further..., thanks i'll try fro a different serve, Los angeles 1 doesn't work.

Somebody else posted that a friends internet was terrible and asked if somebody could download the mod pack for them. You could try that if you're internet is too slow.

Edit: Also if this is the first time downloading the mod pack I would suggest grabing the 1.1.4 version as the 1.1.3 introduced a few issues relating to id's.

i think i've figured the error out, by analyzing the log, i've came into conclusion thtat the main modpack file .zip´has been abruptdly stopped missing it's few remaining bytes, that made it corrupted thus error in download, so i've got the download links from creeperrepo and i'm trying to download it again using a download manager to prevent corruption, i'm trying that now, and as already stated before in this thread, might take a while, so in last measures can someone give me a instruction onhow to install manually the direwolf 20 1.1.4 modpack?

It will be difficult to manually install it. The FTB launcher was made to take out the hassle of doing it yourself. If your internet is that bad I would suggest getting somebody else to download, that has a faster internet connection, the mod pack and transfer it to your system.

Hi, well this time i think the problem can be solved, by looking at the console i've figured out that for some reason, even after i finish downloading the pack, it gives me a hash check error
http://pastebin.com/7pjxCtZE
As you can see above, i've tried twice to download the modpack, but if you pay attention to the Local you'll see that those are different which means(i think)that somewhere at very end of the main modpack.zip it stops to download and ends up missing very few bytes

If you have not already follow this guide to install the launcher the recommended way. Please post a new console log after you follow the guide. If you have already followed the guide previously, the log gives you the download link. Try using a download manager that enables start/stop and see if the creeperhost server will allow you to do that to make sure it does not stop mid download.

You might also want to edit your pastebin link to remove the 'embeded.php?i=' part as it will not show otherwise.
