Problem with NEI

I have a private pack for a small server I made. I'm using the latest recommended versions of Chicken stuff and NEI for 1.7.10.
I didn't update anything to do with NEI, but for some reason the latest update and the one before it killed the NEI for all players but myself.
Has this happened for anyone else? Any idea on how to fix it?
I thought updating the pack would help, but it's still happening.

Killed how? If you mean it doesn't show up it's probably just hidden and you have to hit O in the inventory to bring it up.

Sorry should have specified. Killed as in it's not there, and even pressing O doesn't bring it back. That was my first response too, but it's not working for anyone except myself for some reason.

Yes it's a private pack with FTB that I created. Auto-downloads all the exact same mods. Everyone is using all the latest NEI and chicken stuff, so it "shouldn't" be the NEI mods. I'm just really confused about why this is happening at all, but also, why it's happening now and not in a past version that had the same NEI and chickens mods.

See if you can find what the configs were like with the last version that worked. It's possible that the new version's config values are different than what you had them set to before. That could explain a sudden change in behavior.

NEI doesn't really have too much in the config though. There's definitely nothing in there that would completely disable NEI completely. Either way, I just tried deleting the confis for chicken and NEI, didn't work. Also went into NEI config and there's nothing in there to do this.

Hmmm, strange. How long has it been since you updated Forge? If it's out of date, maybe try a newer version and see if that does anything?

Found the problem. A had thaumichorizons installed on the client side but not the server side. For some reason, this was cancelling NEI for everyone except for me, because I had deleted it out of the folder when tweaking the server. No idea why this would cause NEI to not work.

My forge was actually causing issues. I have the latest issue of forge for 1.7.10 that would work good. It's quite recent.
