Problem with my 36HP steam boiler

I have a 36HP steam boiler. Fully heated up. 9 liquiduct connections 5 faces of the liquid tesseract. For some reason it will only provide for 12 industrial steam engines, not 18. Cant figure this one out. I have tried to figure it out and im in the dark here.

When I say it wont provide for 18 meaning. 12 engines will produce the full 8 mj each the second i add another engine to it the other engines' will drop their MJ. Any help please?

Each liquiduct connection can only transport a certain amount of steam. You need 6+(if I remember correctly) connections to transport enough steam for all engines. And you only got 5 connections on the tesseract.

Yes 6 powered connections on the boiler, but you also need 6 connections on wherever you are piping the steam. From what I can understand you only have 5 connections on the tesseract. You can make another tesseract and make more connections to that, and set them to the same code.

As you can see the input and output is the same for liquiducts.

Ok so I added a second tesseract, and its working fine now, thank you so much! I think what happened was I misunderstood about having to need the extra faces on the tesseract. I know there was a post or two that said 9 connections on boiler but only 5 are needed on the tesseract. Thanks for clearing this up for me.Really appreciate it!

Edit: So right after I wrote this post my engines all dropped again lol..back to square one =/

How many connections do you have on the engine side? It also requires 9 unpowered or 6 powered.
