Is there a way to make a chest that only me and my friend can look in

if your going to get outside of just the block itself you could also just use warded block vault with a warded door and give them a key for it.

Yes but a pickax will open it right up.

Warded block are only removable by the player or an op in creative mode.

They're truly unbreakable. You need a wand to break them now.

Put the chest behind a warded door and use warded blocks all around

Then don't leave a space behind the door, have the chest and blocks directly aganst the door.

edit* SERIOUSLY? You can bypass every security type mod with a simple item like that? >.>Inter- Mod balance is wayyy off here.

You can get through warded walls with the cloak of distortion

only if there's space for you, if all it is is a chest, walls and door, and no space to stand inside, you can't pearl through.
