I despise turtles, mainly because I don't know LUA that well. I WANT to learn it, but for now I'm content using my other methods of stuff.
If you ever get to the point that you want to learn enough that you are willing to learn, I'd suggest this video series:
I've watched through the first one a bit just to make sure it is fairly good, and I found it to be an acceptable introduction to the LUA programming language.
And, so you know, programming is easy. The HARD part is troubleshooting (fixing your programming when it breaks and you aren't sure WHY it is broken). When (not if. As we say in the motorcycle community: You ARE going to crash. It is an issue of when, not if, so always be prepared for it) you have that type of an issue, the computercraft forums are a great place to get expert help, and the forums here are usually fairly good with that, as well.
