Well, there's also the point that nano doesn't fly either, so any flight is better than no flight... plus, yanno, all the other nifty things that goes along with MPS.

Ok, from what I know, whether OP wants to use MPS or IC2 armor is fairly irrelevant, it's straight up personal choice.

However, the fact that the tool is draining EU from nano/quantum shouldn't happen. Those armors are not meant to be anything but armor. They are not intended to have any bat/lappack functionality. So, I would advise OP to go report it as a bug. As far as I know, there isn't any config to "isolate" MPS pieces from each other.

Get the Flight Control Module.
Your powersuit now flies like Creative Mode AND is faster than a gravity suite (I think).
And I don't see how nanosuit is better than MPS, nanosuit can't fly AT ALL.

Do you have the flight control module?
Is it turned on?
Are you using the correct version? It was "broken" in one version if you had a French keyboard (Azerty) and probably a lot of other ones too

just tested it, in 1.5.2 beta ftb with gt 0.7. if flight control is set to 0% verticality it will work exactly as gravi, except you will stop moving, when look straight up or down, but i`d say its a minor issue

IMO it's certainly worth the other two billion advantages that the MPS has over gravisuite.
Personally though, I only use the flight control module when I'm building and I need to hold stable, or if I need the extra horizontal speed. Otherwise I prefer the default flight.

did something change inthe patch? in 1.4.7 i just install a battery in the tool and it doesnt drain my quantum (I think). though I only use the railgun but whatever.

Which of the two ways do you hate? The normal one functions just like any jetpack. The other one, with a flight control module, is unique. It goes in the direction you look at, or left-right-back as well.

Depends on how you set it, it can be mostly creative as well, although I like the go where you look better.

Kinda does now if talking about it in a thread that mentions gravichest as this thread does. The gravisuite mod now also adds advanced nano chest that incorporates the advanced jetpack.

Good mod, but I'm too much of an mps fan, going to make the adv nano to see what it's like though.

i`m sure it`ll have it`s niche when GT recipe`s for mps are turned on. because it will allow fly and decent protection early. and in fact gravi will do the same thing, because it takes less iridium plates to make a gravi than to make a jetpack, jetboots and energy shielding for mps.
