What is the most effective method of powering Alveary Fans and Heaters? Will they take Redstone? As far as I can tell myself, if my numbers are right, it would be Electric Engines yes? I.E, 4 electric engine plugged into MFE, plugged into 1-2 Solar panels should be able to power 8 Fans/Heaters through the night, yes?

Is this early game? Like you went straight Bee route or did you work on your power system before hand? The best way would be to use basic Forestry Bio-gas Engines and TE Redstone Pipes to put the Fans and Heaters from under the Alveary for now.

TE Redstone pipes do what again? Unless you mean TE Redstone Energy Conduits, in which case I would be questioning your definition of "early game"

Yes, the Conduits. Forgot how to spell them and felt to lazy to look up how to spell them. xD
Ah, there we go.

But dude, that ain't early game. Well, not really early anyway. You need a Magma Crucible(which needs a lot of power to work), a liquid transposer(to fill the suckers up), a steady source of Obsidian for your Hardened Glass(which has to be crafted in a Induction Smelter), Electrum in spades, and a crap load of redstone dust.

Forgot about the stuff needed to make them :x. Golden conductive Pipes should be a good replacement then.

Exactly TE and forestry engines are the way to handle forestry power needs. Using electric engines is a huge waste of resources and energy.
What about things like the carpenter and the Squeezer? Those do not have to be run all the time, meaning you'd have to have lava available to start the engines up ever time, wouldn't you?

Just make something that auto makes Bio-Gas and have the engines run unstop.
