Pimp Your Nether Portal! [Challenge]

Hello!​

I was wondering what kind of nether portal design i should do for my lp,​

So i hopped into a creative world​

And started throwing simple stuff around to see what I could come up with.​

Note: I am not the best builder in the world.​

I would like to see what the community has in store,​

So build a cool structure for your nether portal/hub​

and upload them hear!​

Never messed with it man, Idk I like using just the normal vanilla blocks, or mod building blocks, to decorate it.[DOUBLEPOST=1373012515][/DOUBLEPOST]

Ok I got some quick ones I hammered out for you.

First you don't always have to keep it looking like its two wide with some clever block placement you can make it look smaller.

Some soul cages and some fancy tinkers construct blocks and you can pimp it out.

Abyssal stone or RP2 Basalt can make an evil looking portal

Why fight the ugly? Use the obsidian walls and some glowstone from a huge pile of eye cancer.

Bloodstone, Quartz, and some microblocks and you can fancy anything up. Its Rebel themed.

But these are all outside things. What if you want it in your 9x9?

Here we have a 9x9 and we want a portal inside part of our sprawling complex of 9x9s that spread for miles and miles.

yeah I just wanted a quick techie look base and just slapped that together not really looking at what I was using for the room.

I did not. They are abyssal stone. I forget which mod adds them but the look a lot like the RP2 Basalt so you could do either depending on what mods you have.

The Monitors are actual Advance Panels. They are like normal display Panels but can take up to three IC2 cards like text, time, or energy locations. They have 16 color options for back and text and can even be altered in the latest build you can move sliders for thickness and angle. All in all they are really growing on me.
