Do you have a 32bit version of windows 8 as it says in the log? Do you have any texture/resource packs? The log appears to say that Java ran out of memory. If you have 64bit windows get the 64bit version of Java so you can allocate more memory in the launcher. If you have a resource pack try to run without it. I would suggest arguments, but the ones on these forums are made for 64bit.
